Right now I've been happily stacking intellect such to the point that I never run out of mana and have a great crit rate. I'm starting to wonder if I should gem in some SP again or something, as my HLs aren't as big as they could be.

All that said, I don't think the MP5 change will be that big. Illumination is going to go from something like 400 MP5 to 200 MP5, and that would be hard to make up with through a 25% increase in MP5. If anything, the MP5 change will only offset the replenishment change. I suppose I'll continue to depend on Seal of Wisdom as my primary mana regen.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4407860231382967590.post-70760874744800468132009-06-19T08:31:53.496-08:002009-06-19T08:31:53.496-08:00i don't know... changes did need to be made, b...i don't know... changes did need to be made, but i don't think this is the correct direction.

BEACON

first, the fact that beacon now will carry over healing is "nice"... but wtf? this would clearly make our already "mindless" job of healing more mindless. this is a "buff" for scrubs who suck at paying attention to their tank's health or who don't know how to anticipate raid healers healing low raid members. either way this change is definitely not needed. now why did blizz do this? they think this will make us better "raid healers." no... that's retarded. all it means is ppl will spam FoL on raiders who are already full health. fyi FoL is close to the suckiest "raid heal" there is out there. just because they make our overheals go through our beacon to the tank, doens't mean that us overhealing the raid makes us valuable "raid healers." paladin raid healing comes on fights where dmg intake is so high ppl are often missing 10k plus health (freya/hodir, etc). when this happens HL spam on the raid is incredibly good... and guess what, it gets beaconed to the tank unless you suck. the new range and multiple beacons on 1 target is nice... other than that this change is a gimmick. it dums our job way down and won't do what blizz thinks it will: make us better raid healers. if this change goes live, my guess is that skilled paladins adjust by beaconing the tank and healing only the raid, but they will see little difference in their overall effective healing.apokteinonoreply@blogger.com
